Nuria Cubero Escobar perfecto! I will with no doubt (maybe after "Semana Santa"). Andrew Kamel haha people told me that some residences have a waiting list of 1 or even 2 semesters, that's why I started now haha.
Andrew K. replied:
That's true though, There is no harm of actually applying now. Go to http://www.studentenwerk-muenchen.de/en/accommodation/ and apply for the best rated, close dorms with the longest waiting list. You are gonna get something very good. You are lucky and smart to start now. Go for it. And we'll see you when you are here ;)
Andrew K. replied:
then wait one semester and use that : https://www.facebook.com/groups/14220357130/10151269672257131/

Actually, there is a discrepancy between right of Erasmus students ensured by EU and the policy of Studentenwerk. EU law states that Erasmus students have the same rights as regular students, so Studentenwerk according to the law cannot discriminate Erasmus students. I already had a room when I had learned that, but you can try to find the exact paragraphs, and ask them the difficult question about the discrimination invoking them ;)

Check out Hostel Hutteldorf (first option in the link below), they have beds open for $25/night. Only thing is it's not in the center, but it's right next to an U-Bahn station. http://alltherooms.com/VB/search#/?location=Vienna,%20Vienna,%20Austria&checkInDate=2016-09-29&checkOutDate=2016-10-02&parties=1&rooms=1&city=Vienna&country=Austria&countryCode=AT&lat=48.2081743&lng=16.37381890000006&state=Vienna&stateCode=Vienna&view=list&order_by=recommended&order_direction=-1&skip=0&price_max=55&propertyTypes_Hostel
