There are A LOT of scammers, be wary. While living "here", I spent about an hour or so every day, for TWO MONTHS, before I got two offers for places in the area/budget/features that I wanted, and one of the offers was for a ridiculously tiny place that once I saw it I declined, so basically after 2 months of searching, I got exactly one offer that I wanted. Be patient. I suggest staying in a airbnb for the first month or two, its harder to find a place if you are not here to meet the people.
