Not sure if I can post this in here. But I figure everyone in this group has a pediatrician so hopefully I can get the best feed back. Can anyone give me recommendations...

Dr. Pumphrey off Haun Rd. in menifee he is amazing! 951-679-3159 he is open late on Tuesdays.
Need recommendations- Pediatricians and primary doctors (adult) in Corona not from kaiser- Go!
April S. replied:
We go to Dr. Mguyn at Ivy Springs Medical. He is absolutely wonderful and so far everyone I have referred to him love him. If you get labs done he doesn't make you come back in for the results unless he needs to prescribe something. He will call you on Friday night personally to let you know. He was voted "Peoples' Choice" the past two years. 951-677-2227.

Dr Deterville!! Thats where I take the kids and I love him. He's very thorough. Kevin also went to him when he was little. I know a lot of people who take their kids to him .. I've never heard a complaint about him or the office staff. Plus the nurse Linda is very good with the kids as well
Kristyna B. replied:
Dr. Bogama in corona for adults and Dr. Oturno in corona for peds!
Candice H. replied:
I take the boys to Dr. Ortuno. He's really good with the kids and e doesn't make you feel stupid if you ask too many questions, and we go to Nicole Newman. She's a PA, but she's so helpful and informative.
Candice H. replied:
Oh and both Dr. Ortuno and Nicole are in the same building so it's nice
Jamie R. replied:
Dr. Deterville for a pediatrician.... He's amazing!
Angela N. replied:
My girls had Dr. DeGuzman...loved her.. I heard Dr. Deteville was good too but never had him/her
Question from the Inbox ~ We have orders to move to Camp Pendleton in April, and I need to schedule a dentist appointment for my son for the beginning of May. Are there...
Amanda L. replied:
I always had great experiences with the dental office there on base, in the Pacific Plaza. And no, you don't have to be seen on base. Heather Carpenter, was my kids Ped and I really liked her.:)
Melissa B. replied:
First of all, are you planning on living on base, or off? If off, what area are you looking? San Diego is a huge place, and there are great pediatricians all over. Why drive if you don't have to? ;) Who I, or anyone really, would recommend would be based largely on that. Here is a group that has doctor's all over SD. We used them and ended up seeing several different doctor's based on their availability (their primary was Dr. Page) and loved them all. http://www.cpcmg.net/our-doctors/
Marsha P. replied:
Pediatric Smiles in Carlsbad is AMAZING with kids!! We love it there.
Rhea A. replied:
Super Dentists are good. I just had a baby last month and peds is no longer full so you have to go on base for care or you can switch to tricare standard and go off base.
Amy W. replied:
We went to Dr. Reder and his son, they are off the 78 on the Oceanside/Vista line and are great, take military, work with you on put of pocket costs, etc. It is a family run small business and we used them for 4 yrs and loved them to death and wish we could of brought them with us. Not sure how the hospital is now but when we were there the PEDS clinic sucked and I demanded my daughter be seen put in town and they approved it and we went to Dr. Bedrosian and loved her.
Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician/Family doctor in Murrieta/Temecula area.. Thanks
Laura D. replied:
Dr Becker. Love him.
Caytey S. replied:
Dr David Zebrack on Winchester.
Nissa F. replied:
Yes Dr. Hurwitz (as mentioned above). Top notch. She really cares about kids. Normal peds will have an answering service for after hours, but Dr. Hurwitz personally answers her after hours calls, no matter if it's 1 am. She will also come in after hours...See More
Erika D. replied:
Oh my goodness....Dr. Griffin!!! That is the only Dr. That my kids will see. He is just amazing my friend and is right off Handcock!

Becca D. replied:
Dr Rawson is LDS, too. He's a great doctor... https://www.facebook.com/TemeculaMedicalGroup?ref=br_tf
Megan D. replied:
Dr Charles Pumphrey is in Menifee, but i'd travel an hour to keep him! He's super chill with vaccinations, etc and cool with me using essential oils instead of antibiotics. I absolutely love him!
Megan R. replied:
Just for the record, I have also heard great things about Dr. Pumphrey...
ISO a good pediatrician in the area that accepts IEHP. I have a really good one for my 1 year old in temecula but will be moving to hemet Sunday and need someone closer...
Renee L. replied:
If you like yours... I'd hold on to them. Hemet IEHP doctors have long wait times for appointments. I generally end up at Apple Urgent because I simply can't wait for a doctor to see a sick child. Hemet hospital is less than good. I would considet keeping your care in Temecula.
Deysi S. replied:
Though I've heard many many many stories of pediatric partners, my 7 month old is seen by Dr Keith there. Not one bad experience. Every time she's had an urgent matter, she is seen that day. I do have to say though, that if you miss an appointment, it took about a month to be seen again.
Dyann J. replied:
I love Dr. Keith but the wait time for appointments is f-ing ridiculous. My kids, 9 times out of 10 my kids end up at access first urgent care.
Gina V. replied:
Ace pediatrics in San Jacinto next to McDonald's
Jocelyn G. replied:
I also came from Temecula 5 months ago. My kids were seen at Pediatric Partners by Jefferson & were transferred to this Pediatric Partners on State st. I did keep my dr from Temecula. It's a long drive, but he gets things done. Best dr ever.
Jocelyn G. replied:
I have Dr. rivas. Same building as Pediatric Partners on Jefferson lol we see our drs in the same building
Dyann J. replied:
Oh and don't get me started on Hemet Valley hospital! Good grief. For your child's safety, take them to Rancho Springs or Loma Linda in Menifee or RCMC in Moreno Valley.
Kat M. replied:
Pediatric Partners Dr Keith is my little girls doc. Shes great!
Barbara M. replied:
I love Dr Panse in San Jacinto and she take IEHP..Have son with birth defect and she refered and followed mom of 4 31 to 12 and she is wonderful
Becky C. replied:
Dr Keith is a fantastic. We had her since our babies were born.
Cindy J. replied:
DON'T Go to PEDIATRIC PARTNERS! I have taken my son there since he was born, but that was when I lived in Murrieta, and it wasn't bad at all at that office. I kept Pediatric Partners when we moved to Hemet, around 6 yrs ago, and the Hemet office is HORRIBLE! The doctors may be ok, but the office staff are difficult to deal with. I rarely can get an appointment when my son needs to be seen, and they say to go to urgent care. Office/reception staff are so rude and unprofessional. I need to change dr as well for my son. Just don't know who a good choice is in this area.
Elizabeth B. replied:
See if Dr. Keith is still in Hemet ... She is great and there is an urgent care close to her office. It's been years so hope she is still in Hemet .
Elizabeth B. replied:
Ask for Dr. Keith only ... She gets busy and partners will see your child. Dr Keith is great

Meghan F. replied:
One amazing thing about Dr. Pumphrey is that he gives you his personal cell number. You can text him and send pictures to ask questions. He responds super quickly! Kind of a quirky guy. But he obviously cares a lot to do that!
Meghan F. replied:
This is interesting. My only previous impression of Dr. Becker was from two friends who said, "Whatever you do NOT Becker". But some think he's great too. I got in to Dr. Pumphrey easily two and a half months ago and have had no trouble making appointments quickly.
Airika C. replied:
We've used her and Dr. Becker.
Wendy C. replied:
I used Dr. Becker in Murieeta until we got kicked out because Kali was age 20. Hehehe
Jamie P. replied:
We have had doctor Dr Becker for the past seven years and love him
Jenny F. replied:
We have Dr. Pumphrey. He has been Aiden's pediatrician since he was born. We love him & his staff.
Is there such a thing as a pediatrician that doesn't run over an hour late for your scheduled appointment? If you have a good one in the Murrieta/Temecula area please...
Vanessa B. replied:
Doctor Grant.
Vanessa B. replied:
Dr. Hurwitz is a definite no! We started with her years ago and when she told me my son was gonna have to just deal with it (long story but it was regarding a medicine which you can't just stop taking) so she could leave and go to dinner! Nope. Hurwitz lost all my support.
Mary P. replied:
Dr Daniel Robbins:)
Jennifer S. replied:
We use Dr. Hurwitz. I love her. If you call her office during off hours, the calls get forwarded to her cell phone and she answers it! She is right there on Hancock across from Rancho Springs.
Hi there. I'm new to the area and am looking for a pediatrician (among other things). Does anyone have a ped that they love?
Moms2Moms V. replied:
I have been really happy with Pediatric Partners. They have a few different offices...I know of locations in Menifee, Wildomar, Temecula, Lake Elsinore and Corona. They might have others too. I have been with them since my daughter was born and she is 4 now, have never had a bad experience. Tisha Corallo
Allison I. replied:
We just left the area:( and I'm really missing Dr. Colette Grant at Children's Primary Care Murrieta.
Moms2Moms V. replied:
We have Dr Robbins at Childrens Primary Medical Group and he is great. Both of my kids love him too!
Hello Ladies, I'm new to the area and I'll be a new mom around the end of Oct. I'm looking for a pediatrician. Does anyone know or use Dr. Hurwitz in Murrieta?
Moms2Moms V. replied:
Dr. Hurwitz is my daughters' pediatrician. I *highly* recommend her. --Kristin
Kristine L. replied:
Mairead is 8 weeks old and Dr. Hurwitz is our pediatrician, too. We're pleased so far, though our interaction has been somewhat limited. I was able to sit down with her and meet her/talk to her about some of my questions & concerns while I was still pregnant (before I selected her to be our pediatrician)...so, if you want to interview her before deciding, I know she'll take the time to meet you, too.
Moms2Moms V. replied:
Andrew's pediatrician is Dr. Hurwitz and she is a good doc. I do recommend that you write your questions down before each check-up-Alison
I have been at Audrey's MD appt for 1 hr and 30 minutes!! I was only in contact with doc and staff for all of 20 min. I need suggestions on a new pediatrician. Please...

My daughter has been going to Pediatric Partners in Temecula since she was 6 months old (she'll be 17 next week). We have seen all the pediatricians in the group and have been very pleased with all of them.
