What type of food do you want? Groove train at Robina has lots of variety and has great food. Mecca Bah at Broadbeach (definitely book here). Krish Indian at the T Centre Robina is great too. As I said, it totally depends on the type of food you're into and want.

Great choice. I visit Sphinx Cafe regularly and the food is delicious, great coffee and really lovely staff and fellow clientele. A great spot to chill and chat or lay out on a rug on the grass!

Easy House Vegetarian is great--you can stop on your way north. I've also been to one 50 Pub directly across the road. There is a cafe at the Arts Centre. Menu is a bit limited and overpriced.
