thanks everyone, Emma Stromberg Ashworth Doula is a friend of mine so she won't mind. I do have new books but I expect she has something specific in mind and a lot of the paperback fiction is quality used or she would probably have asked me already x

Finally from me (and not the question you asked!), I can highly recommend Manuel at Escuela Cervantes in Pedregalejo for one or two private pre-exam lessons. All the teachers there have been DELE examiners and know exactly what you need. I had a couple with him before B1 and then before the B2 and he was brilliant.

I was going to suggest Libreria Luces, but I seem to remember a similar thread not too long ago... if you put 'books' or 'language books' in the search bar at the top right of the group page, you should see all references that have ever appeared! Good luck.
