I believe they specialise in scaredycat kids!! (like me) Good with English too. Just walk up Calle del Mar to the top, cross the square and keep straight on - they are on the left. xx

Dr Bakri Torrox Costa is really excellent. For optition I use Heiko opposite taxi rank in Torre Del Mar both speak perfect English.

I totally recommend Dentadanes in Maro www.dentadanes.com,Nete Larsen is a wonderful kind dentist, and does excellent work

Found it, Janey, yes we saw that town house in August when we're in Los Romanes. We would like a detached villa with pool - but what a price though - amazing ! We have been coming to Los Romanes for a month in Summer and a week at Easter for last 3 years. Now we are ready for the long term let and a perminent move in 2 - 3 years time. !! Exciting stuff !!

Can highly recommend Ole Optica in Nerja - my husband has very complicated eyes and he was very impressed with the service there, best he has found in the 12 years we have been here.

I speak from experience having suffered a macular hole in one eye which required surgery to repair. Had to have a scan for diagnostic purposes and the only place in the whole Malaga area tat has a scanner is Clinica Marcos in Torre Del Mar.http://www.facebook.com/clinicaocularmarcos

Heiko Heiko in Torre Del Mar ..do both expensive and cheap and the aftercare is very good.....repairs etc.....mine were done for free...Hubby couldnt get on with expensivse varifocals so opted for a basic pair for reading/close work cost...50 euros......they have good offers...and speak english...

Sol Optical in the Eroski centre at Velez

I've just had a loose screw replaced (free) at Optico Centro on C/Especeria just off Plaza de la Constitución. Very helpful and friendly - in the end their technician replaced the whole connecting bit and wouldn't charge.
