Hi everyone! I'm looking to change pediatrician for my LO's and was looking for recommendations on a good doctor/practice in the Nashua area.... Thank you!!
Jacqueline T. replied:
We love Nashua pediatrics- 880-1440. I went as a child and my children go there. Can't go wrong with anyone in that office.
Julie C. replied:
Dr. Mills
Casey K. replied:
Love love LOVE Foundation Pediatrics, specifically Cara Mills. Treats my kids as her own. As a nurse I love how she thinks out loud and involves me in the plan of care for my kiddos.
Jammie R. replied:
We use Dr Youssef at Dartmouth Hitchcock.
Amy P. replied:
Medicine Pediatrics in Nashua. All the docs are wonderful and they treat the patient from birth through adulthood so no need to change docs when the child is older and explain their medical history. My LO has Dr. Riccio (who is amazing), but all the doctors there are excellent!!
Audrey T. replied:
Foundation Pediatrics.
Christen M. replied:
Dr. Mills is the best. We changed pedis when we moved to Manchester and have since changed back because no one is as good as her.
Anyone know of a homeopathic doctor in the area they would recommend?
Nancy D. replied:
I went to a great one in Portsmouth, NH. Maureen Bunce.
Jenn F. replied:
Bedford ( nh ) natural medicine. Dr Kristen O'Dell. Highly recommend her.
Kelly W. replied:
You can also try a D.O. vs M.D. - Doctor of Osteopathic medicine is trained to treat the entire person and not just the ailment http://doctorsthatdo.org/

Help! I just "broke up" with my pediatrician. I'm thinking of using a naturopathic doctor this time. Any recommendations for Nashua? Bonus points if he/she has...
Nina C. replied:
Susan McNamee - here's a link: http://www.snhhs.org/Physicians/Details.aspx?id=2&sid=1&physician=267
Annie K. replied:
If you're willing to go up to Bedford, I can't say enough good things about Carrie Chojnowski at Northeast Integrative Medicine. We live in Nashua and it's well worth the drive for us.
Christan F. replied:
Pediatrics west in Groton Ma... It is about 20 mins from Nashua... Karen Flynn is my children's ped and I am almost positive I love her as much as I do my huband LOL
apologizing in advance for this nonpolitical post--need to keep this local: Any recommendations for a primary care physician in the Nashua area? We've been impressed...
John L. replied:
Sue, I do not blame it on our insurance companies. Non-PCP doctors tend to make more money so MDs have an incentive to take on those practices. Med Schools and, especially, internship programs strongly limit the numbers of MDs in their programs. I have a nephew's wife who got her MD and it took a year for her to find an Internship program, even with her father being a top cardiologist in Massachusetts. Lastly, the demand for PCPs is increasing with more people having insurance. This is why a lot of states are allowing Physician's Assistants and Chiropractors and sub-MD levels in the healthcare world to be PCPs.
Sonia P. replied:
Nicola Kernan is good, but not sure if she is taking new patients?
Dennis N. replied:
Dr. Maria Velasquez-Evans at Dartmouth-Hitchcock [Southwood Drive] has been an excellent G.P. and Primary Physician. She's tenacious when dealing with third parties, insurance companies, pharmacies, and referring practitioners alike. Extremely conscientious and no-nonsense. Highly recommended.
Recommendations for a good primary care doctor in or around Nashua who's accepting new patients?
Marie S. replied:
My husband sees Celine Fortin at Nashua Adult West and we really like her. ♡
Scott K. replied:
Try Dr. Casio at Dartmouth Hitchcock on exit 8. Honestly don't know of he's taking new patients but both me and my mom have him as our PCP. Cassidy Swanson, I have Anthem as well and he was in the network
Andrea T. replied:
Dr Ziada St Joes Medical Center
Ken A. replied:
I have Dr. Prasad through Foundation Medical. He is very good.
Brad G. replied:
Dartmouth Hitchcock of Exit 8 has some great practitioners (Peds & Family Practice) - but the entire practices are so busy that it's difficult to get anyone on the phone, let-alone book a physical with your PCP many months out. Need to see your PCP on a short term basis (illness/injury)? Forget about it. Probably will have a hard time even seeing someone in the practice. That's when you get kicked-over to their "Urgent Care" - which usually involves very long wait times, and not-as-good practitioners.
Carel C. replied:
Dr. Jonathan Thyng at Dartmouth Hitchcock. He has been my primary for years and years. He has won several major awards. Like him a lot.
Paul C. replied:
Dr Peter Barley has been my whole family's primary care Dr for several years. Very personable, takes his time and gets to know you.
Ruth H. replied:
I just picked a new primary doctor, Dr. Handa, at 280 Main St. I see her in a few weeks. I know she is accepting new patients, but can't tell you what she is like yet.
Monique M. replied:
Dr. Martha jaramillo. 280 main st. Love her!
Jeff M. replied:

Patricia C. replied:
Dr, Jaramillio is my doctor!:)
Cassidy S. replied:
Edmond Stebbins I have Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, Paul Crowley unfortunately I'm not seeing Dr. Barley in my network.
Char S. replied:
I loved Dr. Reape He took such good care of my dad. He even called the house to see how he was doing.
Snow M. replied:

Lisa L. replied:
I highly recommend Celine Fortin at Nashua West Adult Med. If she's not taking new patients some of the other providers there probably are.
Anyone know of a decent primary care physician in the Nashua area that is accepting new patients? that will take me even though I don't have medical insurance, but can...
Ruth B. replied:
