Hi-Tech Service on Nolensville is a Hi-Fi expert, and may know how to help. Great guy and fair priced.

The Radioshack on Gallatin road was an independent music shop before taking the Radioshack name. The owner is a great guy. Very wise and still stocks a lot of "vintage" parts and items that won't be found at guitar center or newer Radioshacks. A late 40's item may be a stretch but it's where I go with inquiries for my Audio Technica turntable from the 60/70 s. Hope that helps!
