I have several chronic diseases, so am extremely picky in choosing a PCP. After seeing a couple in Navarre, including Dr. Tran, I've found the absolute best doctor for me. Dr. Logan Richards and his staff in Gulf Breeze are beyond excellent. They are caring, knowledgeable, and return my calls the same day...even after hours. Dr. Richards is young and keeps up with the latest technology and treatments. I cannot recommend him enough. Good luck in finding the right physician for you and your family, and "welcome home"!

My teenage boys go to Dr. Rudman, he is amazing. Have heard wonderful things about Dr. Tran, but anytime we've been switching he's been full and not taking new patients.

Dr. Rudman is a great doctor too, he is my son's pediatrician.

We use Dr. Joel Rudman at Harvest Village. He's very friendly and continues to update his medicine practice. Before we changed to Dr. Rudman we talked to a nurse that lives in Navarre we have known for over 10 years. She trains other nurses nationwide. I asked her who was her primary doctor and she said Dr. Rudman. That’s all I needed to know. Try CVS in Gulf Breeze with their Minute Clinic. They are open 7 days a week and normaly not a bad wait. Better than a visit to the ER or waiting till monday. It is basically an urgent care.

Pediatric Associates is amazing. Every dr there is phenomenal!! We go there and always see the same dr. Transferred there from breeze pediatrics and I would tell anyone not to go there!!!!

Too many issue with the staff there. Dr Grady was amazing and she was who we saw...we were sad to leave her but now she is at pediatric assoc and she is awesome!! So is dr Benny!! Never had 1 complaint or issue with pediatric associates!! They are open in the evenings and sat and sun for emergencies!! They are worth the drive to pace or Pensacola!!!

Pensacola Pediatrics Dr. Reese and stuff are wonderful. We switched from Navarre Pediatrics after multiple instances of waiting in the lobby with a newborn for an hour. Never had a problem with Dr. Reese, my son loves him, always can get an appointment and worth the drive to Gulf Breeze.

Dr. Alison Curtsinger in Navarre is wonderful! I never have a long wait and she has been so wonderful and attentive when we have needed her! And my 5 year old LOVES going to see her and the office staff because they are all so kind!!

Navarre pediatric, my daughter had been seeing Dr. El Goweni for 6 years and she's really good. My daughter has anxiety and other things and her doctor refers her to see a specialist instead of medication unlike most doctors now days....

Dr Rigby at white Wilson in fort walton is awesome. It's nice to have other doctors available if you need to get in right away and there are no openings. But your set appointments will always be with the doctor you chose. My son loves him... He always makes big bubbles when he washes his hands for my son to pop. Lol and his bird whistle is pretty awesome. Lol

Navarre pediatrics. But it's just the 2 of them and can be busy at times. But I love Dr. Mousa and have been using them for 5 years. Saw her at the store and she said hi to my son by his name. That shows me she is informed with her patients ya know. Not just another kid from the office. I don't know. Made me feel special lol.

Navarre Pediatrics! Awesome! - my kids have been going to them since 2004, my kids are now in high school. Love Dr. El Goweni - I can attest that they remember their patients, Dr. El Goweni's daughter took gymnastics at the same gym that my daughter cheered at, she address my daughter by name at the gym and then when my daughter went in to the office, Dr. El Goweni asked her how her cheerleading was going. My other daughter plays soccer and Dr. El Goweni said she saw her in the newspaper for soccer.

I used to use Dr Cammack before he moved his practice back to AL when TriCare decided I should use Dr Cave. I heard he moved back, but I don't know. I really liked him because he took as much time as you needed.

Definitely stay away from white Wilson. They will not work you in or work with you. Recently switched to Dr Gibson in gulf breeze. Love her. Left white Wilson after 12 years. They used to be with Baptist. Dr Gibson is with Baptist.

Second for Dr. Coats. I see my fair share of doctors for multiple medical issues and she is hands down the best primary care physician I have had. She takes her time and will listen and answer any questions I have without making me feel like I'm taking up too much of her time. Both her and her staff are also very prompt with referrals and filling prescriptions.

Shana I know Dr Gibson isn't against holistic medicine. My daughter and her family has recently switched to her too and that was one of the things she wanted in a Dr.

Barber was great with my last pregnancy. I had complications after I had my daughter and he was on point and kept us well informed of what was going on. The staff at Santa Rosa Medical Center is unmatched. They are a small hospital with a lot of time t o spend with patients. When I had my daughter in November, I went in Sunday night around 11 pm and was the only patient in labor and delivery until tues afternoon. They are fantastic.

Our family doc is Dr. Bradley Hawkins at Tiger Point Sacred Heart and he is AMAZING! we switched my son to him as well and he really listens to what is going on and tries to find the cause and not just slap band aids on it. And most the time can get a same day appt if you need it.

Dr. Matthews is very professional and caring. I wish I would have found him when we first moved here.

I vouch for Dr. Kennedy as well for Gynecogist. and Karen Pennington as a Primary understand there is only so much the praimary can handle under the new OBama plan or should I say the Obama "don't care" plan" so no matter who you select it's sill like playing russian roullette you're going to feel like a ping-pong ball anyway the way they all toss you around and how vwery little they communicate with their assitants which has been my main complaint with heath care reform all along, I want to go back to the days when it was we had one doctor who addressed all our needs, it was so much simplier back then and wasn't such a "merry-go-round" if you know what I mean gasp emoticon

I like Dr. Karen Kennedy's office. I see her ARNP. She has offices in Gulf Breeze (behind the hospital) and Navarre (near Vinny R's). Can't help you on the primary. I don't like mine. But I have heard Dr. Cave is good.

Dr. Askew (Primary Care) is awesome. She takes a lot of time with her patients. We just recently moved to the area and I was told Alison Curtsinger was excellent, however she wasn't taking new patients. They set me up with her partner Dr. Askew and I couldn't be happier.

Dr Barber delivered all three of my kids and my neice and nephew! We love him and have never had any issues with him. His staff is amazing also.

The Veterinary Emergency Referral Center on N. Davis Highway in Pensacola (477-3914) used to have a cardiologist, Dr. Sara Bordelon, on staff but she has since moved to veterinary services at Auburn University. She saved our little boy several times. If you are willing/able to make that drive like we did, you wouldn't be disappointed. Otherwise, maybe the VERC (listed above) have since hired a new cardiologist? Veterinary cardiologists are not only very specifically trained but also have the capability & equipment to do specialized procedures i.e. echocardiograms, etc. that your average vet cannot. I have read that Wynn Haven offers ultrasound and echocardiogram.I believe Dr Westside does this procedure. My little Dachshund has mitral valve disease and enlarged heart. She just started Lasix this morning for a little chest fluid prescribed by Dr Dyson who has been her regular vet but does not have an ultrasound.

I should point out that the anesthesiologist, nurse and nurse anesthetist were very apologetic, but nevertheless weren't able to complete the requests, and the nurse did let me know that it was done as a "courtesy". Does Nemours not have a pediatric phlebotomist? What about The Children's Hospital at Sacred Heart?? I was told that children come from as far as Tallahassee, and there is no one they have on call to assure all necessary tests can be completed?? It's definitely frustrating.
