I am on the Sacred Heart Children's Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Council and we actually had a discussion this morning in our meeting about working on a permanent solution for the pediatric phlebotomist issues. I should point out that the anesthesiologist, nurse and nurse anesthetist were very apologetic, but nevertheless weren't able to complete the requests, and the nurse did let me know that it was done as a "courtesy". Does Nemours not have a pediatric phlebotomist? What about The Children's Hospital at Sacred Heart?? I was told that children come from as far as Tallahassee, and there is no one they have on call to assure all necessary tests can be completed?? It's definitely frustrating.

Dr. Winchester is absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommended her!!! She is in the only pediatric neurologist group in the area... we are very lucky to have her!!!

Sacred Heart Child Neurology Group has several excellent neurologists on staff. They are a very busy practice, you may have to call and see whoever is taking new patients. We have seen a few of the neurologists and a PA....we've been satisfied with all.
