Local friends: has anyone used The Doctor is In for Urgent care? Libby seems to have an ear infection and I don't want to wait until Monday to get her some relief.
Rodney S. replied:
I used the one in phillipsburg by shoprite and Homedepot Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S™ II Skyrocket™, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone.

Yeah problem is her doctor doesn't take NO CHIP, NO MEDICAID!! Totally blows n Kayla has Aetna a good insurance n chip as a back up & nope her doctor doesn't take it!! She does take Aetna but of course not Aetna Better Health!!
Trisha M. replied:
Ashley Rapeer she has 2 insurances, she has through my job & chip and both of her insurances her allergist doesn't take
Trisha M. replied:
It does suck!! Even her pediatrician no longer takes her insurance however I'm still staying with her pediatrician doctor and I'll pay out of pocket cuz I refuse to find someone else because she's been with her same doctor since she's been 2 months old!! So for all her well visits, (shots, physicals ECT..ECT..) I'll take Kayla too, however if she's sick I'll just take her to the ER or Urgent care!! Plus her doctor said if Kayla needs shots instead of doing it in her office she'll write a script n I can go to a clinic to get her shots

She most certainly should be on a preventative such as Flovent. She should start taking it several weeks before the allergy season starts. She would most likely benefit from Zyrtec on a daily basis and should be started at the same time as the Flovent inhaler. Make sure, if she gets an inhaler, they prescribe an chamber (they'll know what you're talking about if you say that). If her lungs are really bad, she should be on a steroid inhaler everyday too, such as Pro Air HFA (aka: albuterol)...it's the inhaler used for emergencies but many doctors prescribe QD. Does she have a nebulizer? I know the allergist that she went too and that surprises me that he wouldn't have her on an inhaler QD? I know you don't want to change PCP but Dr. Verma is AMAZING and I don't recommend too many doctors to people because they piss me off since I feel I know more than they do half the time Anyway, he's awesome and I'd trust him but your PCP should be able to handle an allergy/asthma case so I'm asthma little confused. I hope it works out for her because it's a nasty thing to live with
Trisha M. replied:
Kelly Gold she uses a chamber and is on albuterol as needed. I'm just going to start it daily until she sees someone! Her PCP is on vacation
