Dionysia DeLuca has Dionysia Massage Studio in a salon in Newton Centre, Ma. Me and a few of my friend have gone to her. She's the big time " go to" person for massage. I usually get hot stone on my feet. She's amazing!!! 15 Cypress St., Newton, Ma .617-888-1780

Bella Sante in Wellesley or newbury street is wonderful if you want something local.

I've heard great things about this place. Never been, but it's supposed to be a meditative experience. Hammam bathhouse with full day packages: http://atlasbeautyspa.com/hammam
Susan O. replied:
You could hang at Bella Sante for a few hours-they have a nice room with magazines, etc....but if you want sauna, etc....I think you would need to go to a more resort spa. Not sure there any of those in the 'burbs. Maybe Exhale in Boston (the Battery wharf location) spa at the Mandarin?
Jennifer A. replied:
Boston Harbor hotel has a spa, a zen like pool and hot tub and a gorgeous locker room with sauna and steam room. Not sure if you can go for the day without staying overnight but i would assume yes - worth checking. We scored a night there on Hotwire.

I second the Mandarin Oriental on Boylston Street.
I know it's been asked already, but nail salon recommendations. Used to go to Needham day spa and was happy, but just learned they are charging $2 extra on each service...
Kelley H. replied:
$26 at Highland nails
Jen R. replied:
Lovely Nails! I have been going there for over 10 years.
Jo-Ann R. replied:
Pedi is $25 at Lovely Nails. Been going there for years.

Needham Nails in Bertucci plaza Going there for many years
Kelley H. replied:
I love Highland Nail spa next to Mandarin cuisine. They always do a great job. Hated Popular nails on Great Plain. The place is dirty and the man doing the pedi next to me was picking his teeth while polishing the woman's toes. Never went back.
