An easy, low/no-cost option is to make an appt at a makeup counter in a department store. Nordstrom, Macy's Bloomingdale's are all great. Laura Mercier might be a good option for you. Just give them a call to make the appt. They may try to sell their products to you but nothing is required!

Elizabeth Grady, 326 Chestnut Street, Needham (same plaza as Sweet Tomatoes). Did my daughters' makeup and mine for daughters wedding. We don't generally wear makeup and the job they did was subtle and not overdone.You need to make appt. I don't think they do walk-ins.
