Does anyone know of any receptionist, retail, convenient stores, groceries stores, dancers, etc. But NO fast food.
Would prefer a professional job I can dress nice to.
Authentic Mexican food Does anyone know a place I can get fresh pork rinds/chicharrones?
Also, what are some good restaurants for real Mexican food?
Thanks

Honestly, not to be pedantic but it’s mostly all Texmex round here. I really like Los Gallos.

As someone else suggested, Los Gallos is excellent - they have a mix of Tex-Mex and more authentic fare. Pretty sure they have chicharrones on the menu. They also have a crispy tripa plate and lengua breakfast tacos - thing you won't see on many menus in town. My rule of thumb is, if a Mexican restaurant doesn't serve menudo, it is a TexMex joint. Another place I recommend is a little hole-the-wall that is actually a convenience store, former gas station, TJ's Food Mart/Taco Loco on Union Ave near the hospital. It is obviously not a restaurant, more counter service, though they do have some seating. They aren't open all day (until 2pm, I think) and mainly specialize in tacos. They have menudo on weekends and everything I've had there tasted homemade. Cheap, too.

Try Monterrey Cafe, 2570 Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130. Or Taqueria El Sazon Tapatio, 490 TX-46, New Braunfels, TX 78130. For your chicharrones, try Guadalajara Meat Market, 135 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130.

Other than chicharrones, what kinds of dishes are you looking for?

If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican bakery, try New City Bakery. They have things like pan dulce and I’m pretty sure they have homemade tortillas if I remember correctly.
