I'd get in touch with Debbie Krakar at Austin Dog Alliance. They're involved with dog therapy work, just not sure if they actually train therapy dogs. But I would think they'd be a good resource for referrals. Debbie owns it.

Hello all,
Are there massage therapists on here who practice massage, deep tissue, craniosacral therapy, MFR, that have essential tremors or parkinson like symptoms?
I...
Maria T. replied:
Tyler Krausert- a Parkinsonian tremor is typically a 'pill-rolling' rest tremor, but can also manifest as an intention or postural tremor. It's not a cut and dry manifestation. The differential would include other symptoms like bradykinesia or hypokine sia, rigidity, postural instability, hypomimia, and mental changes like psychomotor slowing. Amplitude of the tremor and unilateral or bilateral onset matter also, as does age of onset and progression (rapid or slow). Many things can cause an intention tremor- ET and PD are just some of the possibilities. John Carlson- feel free to PM me for more info. I don't like posting my medical info on-line, but I'm happy to discuss one-on-one. I will say that if you are experiencing any tremor, especially with a history of tremor in the family, it's best to be evaluated by a movement- disorder specialist neurologist. You can go to the essential tremor website to find a specialist in your area if you are in the U.S.. http://www.essentialtremor.org/find-a-physician/
I'm thinking of switching to a pediatrician that's closer to St. Michael. Anyone have a Doctor they love?

When the boys were small, I loved having Marilyn Barnes at Riverway in Elk River. She's a PA, I think, who's been around the block and can tell the fads from the reality. She also LISTENS to me which has made a huge difference in the boys' care.

Adrienne K Schmoyer - who's your dr in maple grove? That's where mine is now, which isn't terrible, but not the most convenient & the wait is terrible.:(
Sandra M. replied:
We have used Dr. Palmer at PIP in Rogers for 11 years. No complaints. My girls are very comfortable with her. She's never given me flack if we've chosen not to do some of the "required" things. We've gotten to know a few of the other Dr's too, and like them as well.
Sheila M. replied:
We been going to Dr. Loken from the Buffalo Clinic since Tava was born. Very nice and knowledgeable.
Jillian A. replied:
We love Dr. Nelson at the buffalo clinic.
Adrienne S. replied:
Dr. Scherer at the Allina MG clinic, she genuinely cares about my kiddos and calls in person at different times of the year to talk about Noah's asthma/allergy. Makes me think she thinks about us even when we aren't on the schedule. She's great.

We adore Pamela Kolacz in Maple Grove. She's a Christian.
