Have u tried the internal medicine group at ProHealth? My dad uses dr Linda tepper, 516-622-6020. But there are multiple folks in that practice maybe one of them has an opening.

The surgery will be done at Island Eye Surgicenter in Carle Place. No hospital for this. Going to try one of the doctors mentioned above. Thanks so much! I think the timing is bad due o kids getting physicals before the start of school. In between my 500 things to do this week I will somehow fit this one in as well!
