So I just found this website called dogvacay.com and you can type in a price range so you dont have to pay a ridiculous price. Boarding my dog soon with a very nice lady for 20 dollars a day. They have all types of services too.

I've been using [K9 Second Line](http://k9 secondline.com/) for two years now. They come every day, leave detailed journal entries, take pictures, and will always answer their cell phone and deal with special arrangements and requests quickly. I really can't say enough about how great their service has been. I really recommend this option.

I use a woman named Aly Walton. She owns Boocooluv Petsitting and is amazing. She is the director over at Save an Angel too. She was recommended to us by our friend and we had her sit for our 5 pups for 4 days. I have cameras in my house so was able to check in often but she was great. Caring, professional, and thorough. I would definitely recommend her. I don't even like telling people about her cuz I don't want her to ever be too busy to watch my crew

I've boarded my baby with Canine Connection 3 x, and I love 'em. Didn't for my last vacation because 3 wks prior to my vacation she went thru a gnarly surgery, and as a senior I didn't want to board her so soon after. Thankfully I have an amazing tenant who dogsat her.

I know not everyone will like giving access to their home to strangers but you can actually set up a meet & greet with your sitter/walker before you leave . . .
