Hive Hair Spa is great, they are all really young & hip there. Located on Oak & 67 th and I believe there is one around Cambie & Broadway as well.
Looking for a Vancouver hairstylist who's good with trans and genderqueer clients. I'm actually in New Westminster, but I can travel. Any ideas?

I went to Chemically Addicted Hair on Davie a few weeks ago. Great cut, excellent service, courteous, good price and they didn't bat an eye when I explained my situation, being trans and what I wanted done.

I have clients similar to your orientation and have been a stylist for 20 years. I can do all types of hair color/cutting for all types/lengths and am close to the liquor store off commercial drive. Heres a link to some of my work.http://imgur.com/a/gF0 l8 Jesse. 604.336.7747

Zoom hair in New West is really LGBTQ friendly, Jeffrey would be great there!
Can I get recommendations for mobile hair stylists? I'm a little on the fence about mobile vs. a salon since it seems like it would take a really long time for one...

We had Kimberly Phillips do ours- I can't tag her but she's freelance and so good! She started at 7;30 and we were done around noon for myself, my mom and 5 bridesmaids. Make up girls showed up at about 9. It was a fun and relaxing morning as we all visited and drank mimosas and ate breakfast. So fun!

I swear by James at B&J barbershop by Sapperton station. Been going to him since he first opened a few years back when he took over Manny’s spot. EDIT: Also a lot of salons along Columbia if that’s more your speed.

I second B Bombshell on Columbia.
rifrif replied:
if you are a girl, BBombshell. if you are a boy also bbombshell because they do full shaves and barber stuff as well. pricier than like a tiny cheap place, but if someone is gonna take time on my scalp, i want them to make more than minimum wage.

I went to zoom a few years ago and had the worst haircut experience of my life, so now I go to Eclipps and its amazing. They're great at men's and women's hair, and it's not super expensive.

I've been going to [B-Bombshell Salon](http://www.bbombshellsalon.com/) for several years now down on Columbia at Begbie...it's an entirely video-game-themed salon. I've always been very happy with the cut I get!

HD Douglas at New West station if you're looking for a no-nonsense cut - just a cut, nothing special. $15+tip

I keep going to Dani's Cut on 6 th St. I would recommend especially if you're sports fan. There is constant sports talk and TV showing live games. Cut-wise it's nothing special, usually basic sports trims, but nothing to complain about. Price is about $20 plus tips.
