Jonathan S. replied:
Try Earthlink - service delivered over the TWC wires at a lower rate. My suggestion presupposes that you cannot access FIOS.

Lisa, Can you tell me more about the everyoneon.org Internet? I looked at the site but am confused about the 1.2/3.2 gb at different speeds. Thanks.
Lisa D. replied:
Try this and put in your zipcode: https://everyoneon.org We pay $10/month for decent service that sometimes is spotty, but for $10/month, we're not complaining.

David T. replied:
My solution: TWC cable for internet (<$40 a month, I get around 6-13 Mbps and bought my own compatible cable modem), ITP for phone ($10 a month, no other fees, Voip, works great), antenna for over the air TV, combination of Hulu, PBSKids.org, YouTube and Netflix for other TV. Having good internet is the backbone, and I long ago gave up on Verizon DSL. TWC has been perfectly adequate for my needs.

Does anyone know of a good high speed internet service in the Pell City area?

I thought about USA Communications, but word on the street is that they suck worse than Coosa Cable
Anyone have info on internet service providers that are not as terrible as Optimum? Looking to switch. Gracias :)
Richard J. replied:
Much like the MTA, the cable industry is just as bad if not worse. It's a monopoly. Only other alternative is Verizon FiOS. Can't wait for Google Fiber!
Pravan U. replied:
Time Warner isn't too bad. Harry Peralta tells me RCN is clutch.

I wonder whether Dr. Rudy manages Lime because just like AIA, Quantum Leap is taking ages to arrive. A Senior Official of Lime told me it was April 2014; then he said it was October 2014; then he said December 22 2014. His last date was January 15, 2015

We have satellite TV but still need high-speed Internet. Satellite Internet requires a phone line and is very expensive.
