My understanding is there is only 1 effective Ab. I had it & responded to the Ab. My daughter caught it from me as it wasn't dx'd for a month. She was allergic to the Ab. I treated it w/ homeopathics. Worst S/S first & so on. Full recovery w/in 1 wk (it was 12 yrs ago so I do t recall the remedies, but everyone is unique & so is the Tx)

I've found hydro and/or sauna is essential when mycoplasma is present and an aggressive naturopathic protocol, preferably with IV therapy. Anne Van Couvering, have you treated mycoplasma? I also recommend Thomas Szulc, MD at http://bahinstitute.com/ in Manhattan and Tia Trivisonno, ND, LAc at http://www.holisticmd.org/ in Glen Head.
I have met Dr. Cua a couple times at Northwestern College of Acupuncture in Minneapolis. Our office consults with him on a regular basis and maybe he has some ideas. Here is one way to contact him: http://newvitavet.com/ask-dr-luke
