Maxine E. replied:
I would start by seeing a Paediatrician who can help coordinate the necessary allied health services and provide appropriate advice on the best services to access. Contact Gosford Hospital Specialist Centre (I think it is 4320 5600) as they have several Paediatricians who run regular clinics which they can bulk bill with a GP referral. Best of luck to you and your family.
Jess M. replied:
I have heard amazing things about the READ clinic at Erina, in particularly Heather Irvine-Rundle. All the best.

Our doc referred us to "The Travel doctor" specialist - this is all he does. He got us to take Malaria tabs & had Hep A, Typhoid & Tetanus (I checked on our certificates). If I recall we were told Yellow Fever is only in countries of West Africa. There are websites where you can have a look.

Not sure where you are in the Hunter, but if you're out Maitland-way, there is Momo Wholefood Cafe which have some raw vegan dessert options on their regular menu (unfortunately some contain honey so are not vegan), & they also do raw specials sometimes like pad thai or tacos. They are inside Organic Feast which also stocks lots of raw vegan products like cereals, spreads, crackers, & chocolate. I also know of a vegan naturopath in East Maitland if that's of interest.
