Pet boarding in Seattle/Bellevue I'm moving to Seattle next month but will be flying back to the parents for Christmas. Can anyone recommend a quality place for...

We've used Downtown Dog Lounge before. The people there are really friendly, and they have a webcam so you can check on your pups.

It's not in the Bellevue/Seattle area (it's in Woodinville), but I definitely think it's worth it to drive a few minutes more for your pets. My mom and I have used [Cascade Kennels](http://www.cascadekennels.com/) for years. We love them. They also give your dogs a free bath and a bandana before you pick them up to make them all cute and clean. Very friendly staff and my dog is never afraid to go back there. They charge $25 per night (10% if you board two dogs in the same enclosure).:)

[Bone-A-Fide Dog Ranch](http://www.bone-a-fide.com/) No cages... they sleep in beds.. and they place outside with dogs of similar temperment. I've had friends who take their 2 dogs here and love it. One dog has a disability (disformed back legs) and they take care of him while the other dog runs outside and plays all day.

A friend of mine does dog-sitting, if you'd prefer that. Her website is at: www.luxcanine.com/

I have an outside dog. Who swims when it snows. She is always happy at Canine club in fall city. Their rates are cheap too

The guy that owns this is a good friend of mine, he takes great care of the dogs and actually lives there with his girlfriend (who also works there) above it so there is someone there 24 hours a day. Obviously he has a number of employees as well during the daytime.
It's a quality place, I always bring my dogs there.
The dogs are indoors in a big warehouse that has a rubber floor with a complicated drainage system, they have plexi-glass individual kennels (two dogs can stay together in one kennel) with no ceilings (about 7 foot high walls) so all the dogs can see out.
They're frequently let out into the room (the kennels follow the walls around the big warehouse room) to play together and with employees. It's really fun to be in there when they're all milling around.
