highlands is good and also Animal Clinic of Morris Plains on rte 10. When I was with Coming Home Rescue they use them for both neutering and other surgeries.

We still take our cats to Blairstown Animal Hospital even after moving back to the lake. They are wonderful, a full facility and the most reasonably priced around.

I use Highlands, but for special services, I recently took my dog to Animal Emergency & Referral Associates in Fairfield. Very good, but pricey.

I brought a friend that lived on Algonquin to newton after highlands tried to charge her $1700. To remove bladder stones from her pit bull. I felt very comfortable w the docs at newton. I also like Morris plains. They took care of our wild ducks yrs ago n didn't charge. Dr. Paul sedlacheck is great.
