Need a low cost vet for a kitten appointment. I understand I still need a vet even though we plan to use Low Cost Spay Neuter for everything else. Suggestions?

Indiana friends with doggies, what are your suggestions for a good, honest, affordable veterinarian in town? I found All-Star but would love your suggestions
Tomás H. replied:
Depends on what you want. If it's just the annual heart worm test and such, the Spay and Neuter Clinic in Noblesville is good, as is the FACE Clinic downtown. Otherwise, not sure. The last time I went to a regular vet, he tagged me $350......

I never compared vets, so I don't know that ours would be considered affordable (probably not), but we take Miss Greta to Allisonville Animal Hospital. We took the dogs I grew up with there, too. When we had to put one pup to sleep, we received great care and compassion, for our pup and for us humans.
Morgan S. replied:
We take our two cats and two pups to Parkside on 37 in Fishers. Dr. Havens and Dr. Johnson are wonderful vets. They are accommodating and we've been going there for 5 years.

We take Bobby to Dr. Elizabeth Morrison at Companion Animal Hospital off Rangeline in Carmel. She is fantastic! Always loves on him- actually the entire staff has to come say hi each time we are in. She calls after tests and checks up on him routinely and always looks for the best "deal." Bob loves going to the vet!

My parents use Westfield Veterinary Care- Dr. Kohlmann and recommend him very highly. Allstar is nice but very pricey! We changed from them to a new vet due to the cost.
Suzanne B. replied:
We see Dr. King at Alllstar Vet.
Jen T. replied:
Dr Kohlman or Dr Bundy at Westfield Vet Care - they rock!
Caitlen W. replied:
We don't have a dog, but we take Spot to Dr. Kohlman at Westfield Vet Care. He is amazing with Spot.
Jessy B. replied:
We go to the Animal Hospital on 32 across from the CVS plaza. We specifically see Dr. Frazer. He actually took our dog home once so he could keep an eye on her overnight. It was one of the last nights she was alive, so it really meant a lot.
Heather C. replied:
We go to Parkside in Fishers. Dr. Havens is the best. Affordable? Not always depends on what you need.
Tricia R. replied:
I think my sis takes their dog to Hamilton Crossing Animal Hospital on 32.
Allyson R. replied:
Westfield vet care. They are great about answering questions and problem solving over the phone. We see Dr Bundy most of the time. Dr. Kohlman's been good, too.

Absolutely love Dr Carter at Carter Pet Hospital in Carmel, 136 th and 31. Treated my pets for 20 years. (Cause I'm old and he is good.). Have at least three friends who use him and love him, too. He talks to animals like they are people/children and he cares. Can't ask for more. Also has an excellent pet sitting boarding service. "Bad" part is that he takes in homeless animals...and I ended up with an extra cat that way....

I always went to the BroadRipple Animal Clinic .... Not as affordable... But with pet insurance was fine (they offer in house...and not a rip off) and they are totally convenient and flexible w appts. Dr. Bill was Mika's vet
