My daughter is wanting to go to massage therapy school...

I would check out Georgia Massage School in Suwannee. It is a basic 500 hour program, which is all the state requires. This will get her making money and gaining real experience quickly, without a lot of extra debt. She can then choose an area to specialize in and learn it via continuing ed, which she will have to do anyway to maintain her license. This way she does not waste time in time-wasting survey and spa classes in schools with bloated programs. Now that there is a state license it does not make any sense to go to a program that doubles the hourly requirement. If I had it to do over I would do it like this. Take the 500 hour course, get out and get some experience and save some money, and then do something like Tom Myers training or Waslaski's Orthpedic Massage courses, or Rolfing training ( if she did Rolfing or Structural integration training, she could then drop her massage license).
