I'm gonna be that person today: pizza recommendations in NK? Places that are reliable (pick up their phone on a regular basis) and actually have pizza (I won't...
John M. replied:
Never heard of a pizza joint around here that doesn't pick up the phone...My # 1 choice is Pizza Heaven just over the line on Rt 2...
I haven't found a best place in NK yet...but Uncle Tony's in Cranston is great (near the mall). You have to pick up..but if you driving by otw home it's worth it!
Louise T. replied:
Actually Pier Pizza is good but really good is Pasquale's in South County Commons
Catherine B. replied:
Pizza Heaven is delicious and extremely well priced!
As I've only lived in RI for going on 7 years, I'm at a loss trying to find a bakery or Italian Food Store that sells Pizza Rustica also known as Italian Easter Pie...If...
Best brick oven/NY style pizza in NK, if any? Thanks! (I'd also love recommendations for Chinese food as well)
Virginia C. replied:
The Bike Stop in Narragansett
Sean S. replied:
NY style?? Ehhh not sure if you would find that here sadly. Closest was 15 years ago CK Pizza. Lol (I'm biased). Yet providence coal fired is good. If you are venturing OUTSIDE of NK. YES Bike shop does a nice job.
Shelagh M. replied:
Welcome to NK! Chinese: Oh Sushi (they have more than sushi) or Green Dragon (SK), Pizza: Pasquales (SK). Pier Pizza is the closest to NY style that I've seen but it isn't my favorite. Locally, I prefer 4 Brothers or Dave's.
Joyce F. replied:
We like Four Brothers too - not too thin and not too thick!
Nickie B. replied:
Kathay Garden
Jean C. replied:
The Place in Wickford is the best in NK area, but The Mews Tavern in Wakefield is the best in South County for pizza. The most authentic Chinese in the area is Peking/Tokyo on the URI campus (only a 15 minute drive from NK and SO worth it).
Christina F. replied:
Not NK but Pasquale's Neopolitan Pizza in South Kingstown is amazing!
Carrie J. replied:
We like Four Brothers.
Sean S. replied:
Four brothers is excellent. If you are a local you will remember the "hot and cold" of Tony's Pizza before Four brothers came and kept consistency and quality up. Def not a "NY Sytle " thin pizza though. Yet good. Tim and Andys is a fun experience too.
Scott M. replied:
Pier Pizza. Only NY style in town sadly. With all the pizza places I am not impressed with any of them. Pier Pizza is pretty good.
Anywhere in NK make good pizza strips? Need some for a party tomorrow.
Joanne B. replied:
Daves prepared food only get a 7 in my pocket. I have cooked for a life time and been to cooking classes her and Europe. Pasta Patch has meter Italian. Believe me!
John M. replied:
Yeah I have only been to cooking classes in my kitchen..Pasta Patch is very good but very expensive as well...Not worth it in my opinion but to each their own...
