Dr. Becky Foster presented at the conference and she is a member of the PRISMs advisory board. I don't know if this is her recent contact info or not. She is not a behavioral therapist, but a pediatric psychologist. Rebecca Foster, PhD Rebecca Foster Winona State University, Winona, MN and Gundersen Health System, La Crosse, WI email: rfoster@winona.eduDr. Rebecca Foster is a licensed pediatric psychologist and assistant professor of psychology at Winona State University in Winona, MN and Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. Dr. Foster's research, clinical, and teaching efforts emphasize the promotion of psychosocial well-being and quality of life among medically complex pediatric populations, examining family adaptation and caregiver well-being within the context of chronic illness and/or neurodevelopmental disorders, and addressing adolescent and young adult health behavior, risk-taking behaviors, and self-efficacy development. Recent work in SMS has focused on identifying and meeting caregiver/parent and typically-developing sibling needs, with a concentration on benefit-finding and adaptive coping across the lifespan.

Barbara Haas-Givler is a member of the PRISMS Advisory board, a certified teacher and BCBA, and the co-author of the new book PRISMS has for sale. She doesn't live anywhere near you, so wouldn't be able to work with your child, but I wanted you to be aware that articles by her would be very helpful to any therapist that you hire. One article that especially applies is on the PRISMS website section "Living with SMS" and then clicking on the behavior section, and then behavior toolkit. This is the direct link: http://www.prisms.org/pdf/Toolkit/BehaviorStrategiesSMS.pdf
