Dr. Schoon in Norwich on Lafeyette Street is wonderful! He is a private practice doctor. Just him and his 3 staff members. All are extremely friendly. Peggy, his office manager is the best and loves to give out hugs to children when she knows they need them most. Wonderful place that doesn't have much wait to get into normally. We have been with him for nearly 10 years.

It is really unfortunate to hear that about GF pediatrics. We are in the same position with Dr. Long and Tricare. Our kids are older so looking for maybe a family practice.

I don't know if they are accepting new patients or take Tricare, but I'm very happy with Gold Star pediatrics in Groton.

Goldstar Pediatrics does not take Tricare. Dr. Susan Stewart is a pediatrician, in Stonington. All of the L&M Medical Group Primary Care Physicians will see children.

try going online to tricare.com and they can give you a list of peds in the area

I had Dr. Slick for Kayleigh. Loved her. She was very thorough and the nurses that were there at the time were very understanding. I always felt like the whole group heard my concerns. Not to mention, they wanted me to start a first-time mothers group. Lol. Kayleigh was very ahead of the speaking/understanding curve for her age.

That should say Dr. Eslick. Stupid auto correct.

I have had a few reommendations for Eslick. I am going to call her and try to set up an interview. I have an interview with Dr.Lavoie Next thursday. Anyone know him?
