Charlott Jiu jitsu recently moved into our gym, so you get the benefit of the strength side and the BJJ. I know nothing about BJJ though so I can’t speak to the competition or anything.

What part of town do you live in? If it doesn't matter on you're near the his gym, Lucas Lepri is a world famous name in BJJ. I'd go with his place.

Definitely check out Charlotte Jiu Jitsu Academy, fantastic group of guys/gals. You can train for competition or just for fun. It's super laid back and you can titrate your intensity as much as you want. No one is going to pressure you to complete but if you want to there are competition individuals that will help you out.

Dojo Body Mind on central offers strength and conditioning, BJJ, and kick boxing. Love that place! Super cool group of people of all skill levels.

I train at GB Charlotte. If you travel a lot than it is definitely the only way to go, they have a lot of locations and you can train wherever. The professors are really good, IBJJF Charlotte international just took place last Saturday and most the students faired pretty well. Pm if you have questions

Lots of great places to train in CLT. I train BJJ at TOP Martial Arts and love it. Lepri's place is also a great choice. (visited a few times). I personally would choose a place where it's convenient to train. Good luck with your search! https://m.facebook.com/topteamma

Anyone know a good gym membership deal for January? Looking for a gym to sign up with.

Planet Fitness. Great deal. $10 a month for the gym or $20 a month gets you access to everything in their facility plus you get to bring a friend and go to any location.
