I work for ophthalmologist. You need to see one immediately. I work at SLU Eye Institute. 314-256-3200. A lot of us are heading to the academy in New Orleans so you may run into some trouble getting an appointment. If so go to the emergency room. They will have an ophthalmologist on call. An optometrist will not be sufficient.

Go quickly, the one time I called my opthalmologist with a complaint of increased floaters, they got me in the same day, for fear of a detached retina. Mine is Dr. Yosalevsky; he is at St. John's.

Linda, I would go to an opthamologist. Dr Nicholls group at Cave Springs is probably the best around whole area.
