Barry, rivers are low at the moment west of the Blue Mountains. There has been extensive restocking of fingerlings recently in Fish River I understand but Coxs, Macquarie, Kowmung and Campbell's are low. I've heard of some ok fishing in Turon recently but not great. Lake Oberon (as it now likes to be called) is good check with Deb or Lyn at Oberon Visitors Centre for details and requirements. 02 6329 8210. Great, reasonably priced accommodation in Oberon too. Take a look at my website bluemountainsfishing.net or give me a call. My numbers on the website. I strong suggest the Campbell and Fish River catchment. The fishing has been pretty good in that part of the Oberon area over recent months. The duckmaloi is a great little stream. The kowmung is nice but access is very limited & 4WD only! Happy to provide further advice.
