I don't know if it's any good, but on Coast Highway, just south of Morse (The Beauty Academy intersection) is a brand new cart vendor (on the West side of the street). I saw it the other night but I don't know if they do tacos or hot dogs or what. Next time I drive by, I'll look closer.

Fratellis in Albertson's parking lot (Italian) catered an event at the mission and knocked it out of the park. And I believe the carry Legacy Brew at their restaurant. Also, Austin, one of the owners is in a reggae band. Could probably get them to play too. Who doesn't like reggae, Italian food and great beer.. http://fratellisoceanside.com/menu.html.
