Contact Mike Verhoorn, Mike VanBavel, or Drew Noland. They are members of the NashVegas chapter of THE VMC. They all have Facebook pages and all live in the Nashville Metro area. They hosted the national meet last year. The host hotel was very safe and secure and we had no problems at all. Very beautiful area and lots of nice roads to ride. I even bet some of those guys will show you some local favorites. Know them all very well.

Mike VanBavel = Gonzo of Gonzo Garage.

Hotels downtown Nashville are ridiculously expensive, but that's the price you pay if you really want to stay downtown. Murfreesboro is okay but a bit of a trek from downtown. I would personally recommend staying in Brentwood, Franklin, or Bellevue. I live in Bellevue where you have the wonderful Loveless Cafe (http://www.lovelesscafe.com/) and the Natchez Trace Parkway (http://www.nps.gov/natr/index.htm). If you decide to go to Loveless Cafe on the weekend, be sure to get there between 7-8 am; otherwise, you will be waiting at least an hour. Also, unless you have a better deal, use Priceline.com to book your hotel and you may save a considerable amount of money.

Very cool..awesome responses! Trips in planning stages with an expected departure from NW New Jersey for early June. Thank you for your friendship and offer for a group ride...and since I am a photographer, will gladly share and take photos of any Victory group while on our journey.

If you have the money, stay at the Opryland, it's AMAZING. Mike VanBavel, lives near there and he could give you some insight. Steven Woods, lives there also. While you're down there, stop in at the Music City Indian Dealership, they gave us a place for the cam and dyno party back in October, nice guys there.

Tommy Marie Beggs and Emma Barton Campbell (& others :), I was at the Newcastle Tornado Shelter/relief center on Wed. 5/22. They initially set up some cots, etc. as a "shelter" at first but they weren't really utilized so they transitioned into more of a donation/relief center. Unless something has changed (don't think so), their whole room is dedicated to receiving, sorting, and redistribution of donations to other shelters and organizations needing things, even as far as Luther, Little Axe, Carney, etc. Once they have a list they start getting things together and they're sent out. They also had some food and drinks available for the volunteers and for any people that came in to choose what items they needed. There may be opportunities to help there but they are/were also the "sign up" point for volunteers to sign in and get id's before they are allowed to go and do cleanup/outside work. 405-387-2922 or 405-387-4594 I've also seen them post volunteer needs on moore.recovers.org

Although it has already been mentioned, I just want to back up what others are saying. If you are serious about showing and truly want the best bang for your buck, Leggetts you gotta believe is a must. Don't let the price deter you. By far the best money my family has spent since we started showing. Chastin Leggett and his crew make the camp fun to help increase interest for the kids. However, he has a way of getting them to be serious when the time comes. The results the youth have after attending his camps speak for themselves.
Any recommendations for dance camp? My 10 year has moves.
