Me and my family travels to Madeira every other year. (I have relatives there.) We have also been to Algarve two times. Algarve cannot even compete with Madeira. This year is an exception though. We're traveling to Italy this year. "Das ilhas, as mais belas e livres" is what they call Madeira, and Madeira is indeed beautiful. The most beautiful island in the world. Nothing can compete with Madeira. I will encourage anyone with the economy to travel there, to do so. If you do travel to Madeira, I would recommend you to visit Porto Moniz. In fact, you should rent a car, take the tour around the Island, and stop at each village. It will be a memory you'll never forget. I love Madeira, and when I've finished my education, I am going to move there. I am proud of being of Madeiran descent =)
