Stan at Old Ridge Auto just did a timing belt replacement for me and he does top notch work. On another car that I decided not to repair, he was going to remove the heads and send them out to Farmer for the valve job work and then stick them back on the car, so I know that he would do a head gasket and do it right. One man shop, low overhead and a nice guy. 671-2510 So Jon Miranda If you call him, tell him that Bob recommended him to you.He is right on the corner of the Old Ridge Rd. and Bay. Not the Mobil station. Right across from there on the other corner.
Bob B. replied:
Here we go....call Klem's Garage, Webster Auto Clinic, Old Ridge Auto Service, Ron's Auto Repair... All in Webster and they all are good. Ask for estimates...a worst case price and a minimum price...for the head gasket replacement. I am sure that no matter who you call that the job still is not going to be on the cheap side. I have paid in the $700 range twice at Klem's twice for intake manifold gasket replacements.

Harold Willmes at the corner of Old Ridge down near Holy Trinity.

The only other place id recommend for the quality is Dean@Webster Auto Clinic, but its been a while since ive been there and I have NO idea what he charges now hourly. My family has always taken them to them before I found Jason@CEW and hes been taking care of my car for three years now, no one else has touched it. He also is phenomenal with Cadillacs!

Anyone have any experience with Grace Auto Repair? My family is looking for a new place to get our cars worked on.
Julia J. replied:
Go to Tire World on Empire Blvd . By Wegmans. They have worked on our Family cars for over 30 yrs.
Ann P. replied:
I switched to Grace Auto when my mechanic went to work there. Prices were a little higher than his previous employer but it was worth it for the closer location and to have the same person work on my cars. And everyone there is very friendly. I don't feel taken advantage of and they have never had an issue with me requesting "my" mechanic. Personally, Nate C. works on my cars but I would trust anyone there.
