For a mechanic, I can't recommend RS Performance on Colborne st E enough. I have never felt ripped off and he always explains the repair and searches out best prices for parts. And I am one of THOSE girls who doesn't have a clue about cars lol

Rhonda, for years I have used Paramount Automotive on James street here in Orillia, just off West street. Twice I have taken my vehicle in there & he has asked "Who told you that you need front pads? He changed my rotors as they were done, but the pads had 90 % meat still on them, so the bill got lowered accordingly. Those brakes lasted a long time, actually until I sold the car. Another time I needed to do the timing belt on another vehicle, again he lowered the bill by 75 $ plus tax, as it wasn't as difficult as they thought it was going to be. Bob and Tyler are top notch and if you can get by Bob's sarcasm you will be in good hands:) I know everyone has their "guy" but these guys are an honest bunch.

If you can't find someone that already has one and can swap the part consider calling Acadian Muffler in Gravenhurst. Nobody will do it cheaper then Ron, husband already inquired around, when he was doing one for his friend and had to go new. 705-687-4243
