Cheryl E. replied:
For a mechanic, I can't recommend RS Performance on Colborne st E enough. I have never felt ripped off and he always explains the repair and searches out best prices for parts. And I am one of THOSE girls who doesn't have a clue about cars lol

I like Dr. Kingstone at Orillia eyewear by Foodbasics

Does anyone know how to get a new family doctor? We have one right now ...
Do I call the doc directly and asked to be removed from their patient list first?
Then what?

Cindy C. replied:
You must start with a call to Healthcare Connect: http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/ms/healthcareconnect/public/ with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. That is the start of the process which is very user friendly, quick as previously mentioned and effective! If you have a doctor in mind make sure you tell them. Lots of doctors are accepting new patients in the Orillia area. I recommend Dr. Kim McIntosh and Associates at 119 Memorial Ave. Most dedicated and compassionate doctor ever! Good luck xo
Vivianne E. replied:
I'm not exactly sure what to do to change doctors but I go to dr. Nivine El Gwaidy she's at the office on memorial near the blood lab and theos kind of.. She's taking patients I believe and she's good!!
Danielle G. replied:
I would wait till you find a new Dr. Before dropping your old one. If you call around to the Dr. Offices and see if they are taking patients and sometimes they will tell you who is. Good luck!
Danielle G. replied:
Dr. Darrel Korkola in Barrie is awesome. I had to leave because I'm living in Guelph or else I never would have left. He also didn't charge me to transfer my stuff (most do though) the nurses there are awesome too but I know you live in Orillia so that's a little far.
Colleen I. replied:
We have Dr. Stokreef. He is pretty awesome!
Amanda L. replied:
I just did it - you can go online and de-roster from your doctor. That takes about five business days. Then you register with health care connects. My doctor is accepting patients and is amazing! His name is Dr. Dharssi I can give you his office number they have info on their answering service about how to get him as a doctor if you are interested.
Kim B. replied:
John and Mandy got new a new Dr. It took less than a month for the process. Although he had a health issue's he still had no problems. Usually you end up in emerge if its an emergency any way because the Dr can't see you right away. There is quite a long list of Dr's accepting patients right now too. You have to start with with a call and they contact your present Dr. You can call john and ask him what he did

I recommend doctor Philips office for dental surgery. They are great. Especially for handeling mom's during the first emotional time of using anaesthesia. Doctor Smith retired and we now see his Son who has taken over the practice.....the office has gone down hill and I wouldn't recommend it. Just my personal experience/opinion. Good luck with your search, we do have a lot of great physicians here:)
Kim R. replied:
Dr. Meeder is one of the best pediatrics around.
Amber Y. replied:
Dr. Meeder and Dr. Barker are great pediatric doctors and for a pediatric dentist Dr. Phillips is who I take my sons too.
Jenn T. replied:
I recommend Dr Barker as a pedatrician, and the dental team at Orillia Smile Center is wonderful
Chris R. replied:
Definitely Allen Hudak for paediatrician and Dr. Philip for dental.
Sherri M. replied:
Dr Hill or Roberts are both amazing. Wish my kids had them
Melanie B. replied:
I use Dr Colpitts, she is fantastic!
Gigi G. replied:
Dr Phillips
Aimee C. replied:
My son sees Dr Meeder. He is excellent, he listens and observes - both of which are important! There are other good paeds, my kids have seen Drs Gordon and Hill, but I think Meeder is the best. There is a really good Paed dentist in Barrie Dr Westman. I don't like Dr Philip, it felt like an assembly line there to me.
