Hi Nicole. How exciting! I grew up here. My kids go to elementary school in the Forster Ranch area of San Clemente. When my kids were in preschool they went to a co-op preschool downtown. It's called Serra preschool and it's fantastic! There are a lot of really great, safe neighborhoods to live in in San Clemente. I've been a local realtor here since 1998. I'd be happy to send you information about neighborhoods, schools, etcetera. I just helped a couple relocate from Sarasota, Florida to San Clemente and their family and I have become very good friends. I'm sure she'd be happy to talk with you as well. For preschools- if you're looking for a parent co-op experience, Serra Preschool - Facebook.com/serrapreschool. - is an awesome choice and you'll get to know lots of other moms and dads in the community. My two sons went to preschool there and I have many Serra Preschool moms who i am still friends with and I see around town... 14 years later! San Clemente is a great community - one single high school and a tight knit feel. Good choice!!

Nicole, San Clemente is a great choice. Price is going to be the determiner here, all neighborhoods are safe and within ten minutes of the beach. LadyBird Academy in windamlakes is really good. My daughter has gone there for 3 years. A lot of the teachers have a BA so they learn a lot. As far as the price it's not the most expensive but its def not the cheapest but sometimes you have to sacrifice somethings.
