I second Cumberland Vet. We actually only went once, and that was this past Monday to say goodbye to our ten year old Golden Retriever. Our regular vet was unavailable and we needed someone fast because she was suffering.:( I was very pleased with the level of compassion, sympathy and professionalism we received.

Not sure if Blackburn is too far for you. We opened up last January, we're a small team of 5. Dr. Bernard Vincelette and Dr. Annie Seguin are the vets who own and work here (husband and wife)! Can even come in just for a tour if you'd like:) [The Hamlet Veterinary Hospital](https://www.google.ca/search?q=the+hamlet+veterinary+hospital&rlz=1C1NHXL_enCA786CA786&oq=the+&aqs=chrome.0.69 i59 j69 i57 j69 i61 l3 j69 i60.901 j0 j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8)

Trim animal hospital was great to our pug. We had to put him down after 13 years as his trachea was collapsing to a sufferable point. It was the hardest decision we have had to make but the Dr gave him a thorough evaluation before she made the recommendation that he wasn't going to get better and he was suffering. They were extremely compassionate and helpful.

does it matter where they served? is it WW2 preferred or will any deployment suffice.
