Any recommendations for gun shops in the Oswego, IL suburb of Chicago? I'm looking for old surplus rifles

MegaSports in Plainfield might have something. Big store, large inventory. Rinks in Lockport is the best shop in northern IL price-wise, but they probably only have a couple Mosins on hand. Small dive store, limited inventory.

Mega sports has literally zero surplus guns, I would recommend finding a ffl and taking a trip to cebellas in Indiana

RGuns and GAT guns in Dundee, and Cabelas in Hoffman estates, but they are all pretty expensive. Might as well just get your C&R and look online.

JR has an older surplus rifle in from time to time in their used gun area. Though they're a little on the expensive side.

It's close to a 3 hour drive, but [Simpson Ltd.](http://www.simpsonltd.com/) in Galesburg has the best selection of surplus rifles of any gun shop I've ever been to. Article II in Lombard also usually has quite a few.
