April May Robinson not a straightforward paint. The frame needs to be scraped and sanded, the panels around the window are on the second floor so a proper ladder is required also...

Depends what's wrong and maybe you can fix it yourself but if it's anything beyond a simple fix it may not be worth it. Even a house call and estimate will set you back about $100 which you might be better off putting toward a new unit.
