LockpickingLawyer or BosnianBill (LockLab) should be able to show you had to do it. I seem to recall they aren't hard and need a thin shim (like that from a feeler gauge or some cut up pop can)

[Seems you would need to know the current combination](https://www.masterlock.com/support/faqs/set-your-own-combination-locks) in order to reset/change the combination. So, if the lock box is yours and you forgot the combo, well, you're likely SOL. If the lock box isn't yours, then you're definitely SOL. ETA: if you're just missing the reset tool that you need (dependent on model), MasterLock's specific [part number for that is K175](https://www.masterlock.com/support/faqs/lost-combinations).

Have you tried turning the steering wheel around hard both ways? Sometimes the column gets locked preventing the key from turning

Try turning your steering wheel, either direction, while turning the key in the ignition. That whole generation of civics has a thing where if you engage the steering wheel lock, the ignition lock cylinder won't turn. A little tension on the steering wheel lock frees the ignition to turn. Source : am a civic owner and have to deal with this, took a while to figure out WTF was happening.
