Stitch Alterations, near Gloucester Green sort of behind Jamie's Italian, is really good. The shop doesn't look like much, but has done excellent work for me and has low prices (trouser hemming last week cost me £10).

I've used a woman in Rose Hill for a few more special things (wedding dress alterations), but for most things I go to Vic's on Cowley Road. They've always done a good job!
