Does anyone have any recommendations for lawyers or counselors that aren't too pricey? I am trying to get full placement of my two daughters.

Dads of Wisconsin is a lobbying group working to improve family law for fathers and their children. For help with individual problems you should contact Wisconsin Fathers for Children and Families. They have counselors who can give you some guidance. They are not lawyers but they have experience in the family court system. Also, check out and please like our main Dads of Wisconsin community page. http://www.wisconsinfathers.org/contact-form.htm

Does anyone know of a lawyer in or around green bay who could represent me and bill me. My ex is pulling me back into court. I'm sick of it and I need a lawyer.

Strongly recommend Craig Mares from Appleton. Private message me for an intro. I've had my share of attorneys and this guy is the real deal.
Holly D. replied:
We have Doug Fyfe in Appleton. He might. Great guy.
Holly D. replied:
James, we had Bill Hammett before Doug Fyfe and he gave up on us but not our money. Have you had Doug as a lawyer?

I am looking for a good lawyer that deals with aggravated assault charges.
James G. replied:
T.R. Trout. He is one of the public defenders but he can work for paying clients also. You want someone who knows the prosecutor and judge personally. That's how things work in Mississippi.
Anyone know a decent lawyer - thats not going to break me. Need to get more placement order with my son.

Hi Matt- I also live in Milwaukee and sought the advice of attorneys by using their free consultation services. I couldn't afford an attorney, but I was able to elicit a lot of good advice from these attys. from the free consultation. From what I have experienced, you really do get what you pay for. I also went to the free legal clinic put on by Marquette U Law School. This was a huge disappointment! But, if you have the resources available, I would definitely shop around for the most effective counsel available. Some attorneys charged $150-$280/ hr. for things that I could do for myself. For example, you may be able to arrange to have papers served by a process server of your own choice, rather than using the PS used by the atty. I guess my suggestion would be to do everything you feel confidently that can on your own, and leave the rest up to an honest and invested atty.
