Vetenary associates in Grenada. They have an emergency call line and will meet you at their office.
Katherine S. replied:
226-0933 their number. I took my lab there a few years ago after I had her spayed somewhere else. They were very kind and I could tell they really cared.
Kimberly I. replied:
Cross Roads is amazing. We had a dog attack by a coyote and needed surgery and a chest tube on a Saturday night. The vet stabilized him and they keep him nearly a week until we could bring him home. Called me with updates and the bill wasn't unreasonable at all. We love Cross Roads in Oxford Emergency(662)832-1387 they have a FB page and a website as well.
Animal Clinic of Oxford I have been allowed to go in surgery (former vet tech) several times. Hands down the best.

My recommendation is Dr. McCullough at the Valley Animal hospital on 315 it's between wv courthouse and highway 9 (Paris)..662-473-3376

Dr McCullough in water valley for sure!
Lakyn G. replied:
Animal Clinic of Oxford is who I use, but I'm going to get on here and suggest NOT USING Bottletree Animal Hospital if anyone recommends it. They nearly put my cat down (after running my bill up about $2000) for no reason. I've also heard similar cases in other animals. Animal Clinic is the best here in Oxford. They have always been so great with my animals over the years

Natascha T. replied:
Thank you for taking the kitten in. It is not only too cold outside but white cats are also an easy target for predators, and they are prone to get skin diseases due to their pale complexion when left outside. Please contact the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society to see if the kitten might be wanted by her previous owner. You can file a found cat report here: http://www.oxfordpets.com/index.php?option=com_content... I am sure if the kitten has an owner looking for her he would be thrilled to have her back or to know that she found a good home. Closure is important. I'll inbox you about details for the spay surgery. Thanks so much for taking care of this lost baby!!

Don’t go to Denman in water valley! We have had multiple very bad experiences there! Animal Care Center on university ave is good!
Danni H. replied:
It’s hard to find one now a days now that Dr. Harland is retired. For a reasonable price too. We take our dogs to holly springs. He is awesome and doesn’t give you the unnecessary things that aren’t needed. He will give you his honest opinion and treat your pet like it’s his own!
Connie R. replied:
Dr. Denman has taken care of our animals for 38 years! Great Doctor.
Lynn K. replied:
Freddie McCullar in Water Valley.
Jordan B. replied:
We use Rolling Hills Animal Clinic in Pontotoc for both of our fur babies. A typical visit for the two of them is around the same price as when we took just one to the vet in Oxford.
Lizzy C. replied:
Dr. Denman has misdiagnosed both animals that we have taken to him. He forgot our cat in Charleston and he died the night that we brought him home and our puppy would’ve died the night we brought her home if we hadn’t taken her to the emergency clinic in Horn Lake. He also just let my grandparents dog die. None of our animals have gotten any decent treatment there. The prices are cheap but I strongly recommend paying a little bit of extra money to go somewhere else.
Beverly K. replied:
Hannah Heaton at the Animal Clinic.
Don T. replied:
Dr. Denham Water Valley very good and reasonable!
Morgan M. replied:
Water Valley Animal Clinic has the best prices around. They are literally half the price of Crossroads in Oxford. Dr. Freddie is awesome & genuinely cares. I wouldn’t suggest going to Denman. I had a really bad experience there.
Thomas C. replied:
I took my puppy to Animal Clinic of Oxford yesterday for a well puppy checkup, fecal test and a 3-day round of de-wormer. It ran $38, which is cheap for Oxford, and they were outstanding.

Animal Clinic of Oxford, heard some good things about Crossroads as well. Whatever you do, don't take anyone's advice and go to Botteltree because "it is cheaper." Went there with my cat, they were going to put him to sleep. The vet said she didn't know the surgery to fix the issue (it was a common surgery) and said she could try it but he might would die on the table. She didn't even have to go that far... I took him to Animal Clinic (the usual vet I use) and Dr. Wilson fixed him up with just a change in diet and higher dosage antibiotic. Botteltree ran my bill up to over $1,000. I see no one has suggested it yet, but in case you are doing research on your own, I wanted you to know personal experience. Crossroads is good and so is Animal Clinic. Anywhere besides the other.

Looking for vet in Oxford who doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Our little dog has been a little off and is overdue for a check up.
Sarah H. replied:
Try Bottletree! All the techs there are super caring of your animals, the initial visit is 40 I believe, but any after that is 20. They work with you to save you money while also going above and beyond to care for your pet. I went to the Animal Clinic of Oxford before I went there and they treated my dog's ear infection three different times and didn't change the medication when the infection lingered. Each visit there is 40 and the meds are kinda pricey as well. Hope this helps!
Michelle W. replied:
Heard good things about standard preventative maintenance vet care from both vets in the Valley. We've used Dr. Denman:)
