We used Child Connections and loved it. My daughter's preschool class was small and Ms. Ellen is wonderful. Tina Malusa Sebetzki is the director and wonderful to work with. Child Connections is right off Rt 618 and just before you enter at the main gate.

I have personal experience with ABC...and that is all I will say. We used Child Connections Development Center for daycare but are switching to Rainbow Child Development Center in Charlottesville for Pre-K this fall because we LOVE the teacher, Mrs. Betsy (our older child had her)!

The church Beautiful Gate has a brand new preschool opening this fall called The Starting Gate. Also, Effort Baptist church has a preschool/school. There is ABC Preschool as well. Those are all right at the lake

Both my kids, 2.5 and 4.5 go to Child Connections and we love it. My son goes 3 days a week and he passed his kindergarten entrance test thing with flying colors.:)

Loryanna - we too are moving to the area in 2 weeks and my 3 year old is going to The Starting Gate in August. We absolutely loved it and the director Nikki. Great price too!

I don't know about preschools here, but if you're looking for a church home, Salem UMC is great, and there are very sweet preschoolers with very nice parents. You'd be welcome!

Good luck getting Zion to call you back we spent a month leaving messages with no return. We are stArting in Aug at The Starting Gate. They are new and just starting out. They are over by the Dogwood.
