Phyllis-You probably found someone already but there is a great appliance repair service in Park Ridge and the owner does go to Palatine. I used this company in the '80's and still remember how great he was. His son works in my office. I don't recall his first name but the last name is Parrino and the number is 847-692-5976. He is an honest man..
