I went through all the same crap with my Golden Doodle, steriods, expensive prescriptions, I finally found this, and it's over the counter. It took about a month to get rid of it initially, but it stayed away, if I ever see gunk in the ears, I use a couple of drops before it gets bad. Elimation diet is a good start. I did it, started with just turkey and lots of water for broth. Then started adding in veggies. Stay away from food with wheat, soy or corn.
