Does anybody know of a good English bookshop in Moscow - preferably one that sells children's books such as beartrix potter?! Thanks so much in advanced!

This place, oddly enough, used to have a great selection of children's books in English, but I haven't been there in about 4 months, so maybe call ahead to make sure? (no, it's not a religious lit place, they just have a weird website:) http://www.dbiblio.org/

The Dom Knigi in Kutnetski Most (opp Jagernauts) has Dr Suess books. I'm sure you'll get something good there. If not, I will be in the UK on the weekend of 20 February. I'm willing to bring you back some books in my luggage.

This is the kind of help I like seeing from this group! Boy, I could really do with a tome of Chesterton or two. Recently inherited a cracked-screen old Kindle, but just can't get into reading books as if they were a flat electronic scroll. Saaraah-- just a thought, if you're using Beatrix Potter books for li'l kids learning English, you might show 'em the old cartoon series from the early 90 s that adapted them. It was great! I think it was called "World of Peter Rabbit"
