Does anyone have a referral for central air conditioning installation? We do NOT have forced hot air in the house, so it will be the kind that goes through the closets....

We used Lennox based in Brockton and have been happy for 10 years but... If I had it to do over I'd give a second and third look at companies that do High Velocity System installations. Instead of standard large ductwork running through closets and dominating attics you get a simple 1-2 inch PVC pipe delivering the cool air. We didn't go that way at the time because the AC condensing unit was an unrecognizable brand and the systems were just getting rolling. I'd love to have it now instead.
Furnace repair - I have an older furnace that runs great but today one of the zones isn't turning on. Any suggestions on who to call?

We used Lennox and they were fine. If I had it to do over I'd seriously consider a Unico system. Takes up very limited space.http://www.unicosystem.com/

I know there was discussion here a couple of months ago about the increase of 37% on the electric bills. I just saw my November Bill, I lowered my usage of last year...
Jaime S. replied:
Due to the deregulation of electric supply everyone has a right to choose where your utility company purchased your energy from. I offer a green choice using renewable source and guarantee to save you money. It's free to choose and you still have the same utility company. The price of electricity is predicted to continue to rise in the next few years. You can secure a low rate today & avoid this. I find once we educate people about their choice they see it is a "no brainer"! You can call National Grid and they will tell you exactly what I am. They will actually encourage you to make the choice since they do not make money of the "supply" potion of your bill anyway.
